20. Testimony of Najah Mahmoud, 50, Wife of
Martyr Saqir:1
My husband was walking in the street when
the bombing of Hilles house family happened. He
was injured and if someone was there, he could be
saved Nobody dared to go to that place, though.
People were afraid it would be bombed once again.
When a civilian car came and took him, he was
killed already. I could not believe it happened. But
thanks God for everything.
21. Testimony of Amal Zuhri, 48, Mother of
Martyr Mahmoud:2
I was baking bread when he was sitting next
to me. When it was time to pray Aser Payer, he left
to the mosque. After he finished praying, he spent
some time with his friends chatting in the street.
Mahmoud was kidding telling his friend:
‘You’re stronger than Israel, man! Stand there! Let
us see if you can prevent an Israeli missile from
hitting me!’ An Israeli missile hit my son! And his
friend was unfortunately not able to save him!
None of his friends were injured. They were
all safe. People who were killed in the attack were
passers-by. This was his destiny, though.
