Around 1:40 pm, Israeli warplanes
launched a missile towards a group of Palestinians
who were near Salam mosque in Nazzaz Street in
Shijaiyah neighbourhood, eastern Gaza City, killing
Ameen Mahmoud Al-ddadah, 29, and Owda Arafat
Al-shandy, 18.

Martyr Ameen:1
The day my husband was killed, we prayed
the Noon Prayer together. I looked him in the eyes
and said, ‘Don’t know why, but something from
inside feels something vague might happen. Is this
the last time to see you?’
It was a strange feeling, indeed. He just
smiled at me and left the house to work. At about
2:00 pm, I received the news of his martyrdom. It
happened when he was walking near the house. An
Israeli missile was fired towards him. He was killed.
That time, I was in my ninth month of
pregnancy, and delivered after exactly 12 days of
his martyrdom. It was a baby boy. We named him
Ameen after his father.
