Weapons Used in Operation Pillar of Defense 1
Report on Military Munitions that were used in
Operation Pillar of Defense
The Israeli military forces has used, in the recent
aggression on the Gaza Strip, unlimited variety of
weapons and military ammunition that destroyed
human beings, stones and trees. Here we bring
information about some of the weapons and
ammunition used in the aggression.
First: the general-purpose bombs.
• MK80 Bombs
These bombs were used to destroy buildings and
facilities. They were used in the destruction of
homes, police headquarters, farmland and open
areas. They had half of their weight of explosive
material, and there were several weights and sizes
as follows:
