Families Targeted by Israeli Terror in 2012
of the closure that has been imposed on the Gaza
Strip since 2005. Many can easily deny the fact
that thousands of kids and women have been killed
due to the massive Israeli airstrikes, farmers have
lost their farms after being shovelled by Israeli
bulldozers, hospitals with no pharmaceutical, and
many refugees who have lost their homes! I could
never do that, though.
I was born to tell the truth!
I Get Money to Be a Witness!
To cover the situation of the Gaza Strip is to
fight for the truth and to fight for justice. It saddens
how every piece of information from the Gaza Strip
is transformed immediately to adjudication claiming
that it is a lie only because its source is Gaza.
Those people that are hurt by the truth are
the same people who say that Gaza is inhumane!
Western governments apply human rights
only when it suits them! And to tell the truth, I’m
here in the Gaza Strip, paid. So it’s that I can say
whatever I want since I’m paid! But I’m here to tell
what I see in front of my own eyes, to tell it any
way, even if it did not satisfy them. The truth has to
be revealed.
I was raised in a society where a journalist
is a free man who has the right to say whatever he
wants. I will not abandon principles of telling the
truth for being threatened!
If it requires the journalist to falsify the
truth in order to become a legal journalist, I am so
proud to complete my work telling the truth being
an illegal journalist.
I will not keep silent!
