Families Targeted by Israeli Terror in 2012
They brought them to the house for me to
see them. Thanks God who granted me patience to
look at them and kiss them a goodbye. When they
left, I talked to God. I told Him, ‘Thank you Allah
for giving me the honour of being a mother of two
martyrs. Please make it easy for me to bear and
accept. I love you.’
I remember one time before their
martyrdom, we were talking about marriage. I said
to Sadi, ‘When will I see my grandchild, ha?’ He
laughed and told me that he and his brother would
marry in heaven! I said, ‘No! I want to see you kids
first, then go where you may, you both.’We laughed
from our hearts that day. We were happy.
They always visit me in my dreams, and I
always see them happy. I once remember I saw them
in my dream, and when I woke up, I was smiling. I
felt happy that every time I see them, they seem to
be at ease.
Sadi and Ahmad were more than brothers.
They were close friends; one soul in two bodies.
They lived together, and left together, as well. God
grant them heaven and grant us patience. Amen.
At approximately 5:05 pm, Israeli occupation
warplanes bombed a group of citizens who were
near the mosque of Al-Bashir, in the northeast
of Tal Al-Zatar, northern Gaza. This led to the
martyrdom of Ibrahim Mohammed Shehadeh,
23, and the injury of one more.
