Israel Kills
Families Targeted by Israeli Terror in 2012
14. Testimony of Halah Al-Safadi, 27, Wife of
Martyr Mohammed Al-Aff:1
I did not see my husband much during the
offensive. In the last few days of his life, I asked him
if he felt something that could happen. He smiled
and said, ‘Halah, pray for the best to happen.’
He left me and went out. I received the
news of his martyrdom a few moments later.
Remembering how he acted before he left me and
what he said, I tried to accept his martyrdom, asking
Allah to accept him as a martyr.
Around 4:00 am, Israeli warplanes targeted
24-year-old citizen Sami Al Ghofair inAl-Montar
Street, Al Shajaiya, east Gaza City.
15. Testimony of Nasma Al-Ghofair, 25, wife of
Martyr Sami:2
During the days of the offensive, my
husband used to come home from work to have his
lunch then go back for work again. I memorised his
schedule by heart.
On Sunday, the fifth day of the offensive,
Sami went to visit his mother who lives inAl-Montar
Street. I used to accompany him, but because I was
pregnant, he knew that I was too tired to go with
him. While on his way to his mother’s house, an
Israeli warplane targeted him and killed him.
