Around 7:10 am, an Israeli warplane fired five
missiles towards Al-Toffah Police station near
al-Mahatta mosque, northeast Gaza. These
explosions led to the destruction of a building and
another four houses, completely. The bombing
led to the martyrdom of the 53-year-old citizen,
Nawal Abdelal, and the injury of 10 citizens. This
also led to the partial damage of tens of houses in
the neighbourhood.
4. Testimony of UthmanAbd El’al, 57, husband
of martyr:1
My wife, my son and daughter, and I were
all sleeping downstairs when I left them to the upper
floor to watch the news. It was not even minutes
when I shockingly found myself under the rubble!
I was quickly transferred to hospital and
because my injury was so serious, no one told me
anything about my family! After three days, I knew
about the martyrdom of my wife.
The house had 11 family members, six of
them were injured and my wife was killed. My two
young daughters Razan and Shimaa used to stay at
their married sister`s house during the offensive.
Knowing about mother’s martyrdom, they were
shocked.
We never expected that Israeli warplanes
would target our house, as we were peaceful
civilians! However, Israel was too savage to
differentiate between resistant and civilians.
