huge one! My kids started crying out of fear when
I, unconsciously, stood up to see what happened
through the window. Nothing was clear as stones
were all over the place and smoke filled the place.
As the explosion was close to my daughter’s
house, she came to my mind and I started thinking
how was she and how would have she felt about
that terrifying bomb. As my husband went out the
moment we heard the sound, he came back to tell
me that every single person in the building where
our daughter, Samah, lives, were killed! I was not
able to do anything. I knew later that my son, Nasir,
was visiting his sister the moment the house was
bombed! Later, I realized that all could do is to
thank God for keeping Nasir safe and sound and to
pray for Samah to be accepted as a martyr.
13. Testimony of Abdullah Jamal Al-Dalo, 20:1
That unforgettable day, my father and I
went to the market to buy items for the house. We
did not spend a long time at the market. On our way
back to the house, passers-by and neighbours told
us the of losing our whole family and house; the
news of targeting our house while we were away
I sobbed bitterly. I lost my consciousness. I
just was not able to believe what happened.
As we arrived to the destroyed house,
people told me about losing my entire family. The
house was no more. The house, the kids in the house,
women, men, furniture, everything was destroyed.
Everything was completely gone.
