20. Testimony of Eman Bin Saeed, 23, sister of
martyr Salim:1
After a month of his injury, my brother died
on December 18, 2012. His wounds were serious
and there was no hope he could survive. May he rest
in peace.
My family was so close; every member of
it. Never did I imagine that we might lose anyone
anytime during the Israeli aggression. It was so hard
to bear this loss. We believe that this is his destiny,
though.
21. Testimony of Salem Briam, 48, brother of
martyr Hani:2
Although I asked my brother Hani many
times to take great care and not to go out on the
motorcycle since Israel targets every person moving,
two hours later, he went outdoors to meet some
friends in our neighbourhood. They just arrived
when an Israeli air strike directly attacked them.
Hani and the property owner, Ahmad, and his son
Salim were killed. And a number of friends were
injured!
Hani, being the youngest son, was missed
the most by my mother. She felt so sad for him
that she felt heartburn. She loved him so much!
Separating a mom and her son forever is never
human.
