cousin and her daughter: Haneen Tafesh, who was
martyred on Friday. After he was done and had
lunch at his sister’s, he left to perform Aser prayer,
and while he was going out to the mosque riding
his motorcycle, Israeli warplanes targeted him
by a Helicopter missile causing his martyrdom
immediately.
We didn’t know about his martyrdom except
when neighbors gathered around the house and one
of our neighbors enquired about the colour of my
husband›s clothes. When I told him what he was
wearing, he told me that he saw the picture of my
husband injured on TV! A strange feeling occupied
me when he told that.
After a while, one of our neighbors called
a nurse who works at Al-Shifa Hospital. Soon after,
he told us about my husband’s martyrdom. It was so
hard to believe.
Nearly at 4:00 pm, Israeli warplanes fired two
F16 missiles at a house belonging to citizen
Jamal Hadad, eastern Shijaia, and another house
belonging to citizen Izzaddin Al-Hadad in Al-
Zaytoon neighborhood. That led to a complete
destruction of the two houses, and themartyrdom
of passer-by, Mrs. Sabah Mohammed Skafi, 41.
13. Testimony of the brother of the owner of the
house:1
On the third day of the war, my cousin›s
house was targeted by two F16 missiles, at 11:00
am, which completely destroyed it. The house was
built only five months earlier!
