At nearly 10:35 pm, an Israeli warplane
targeted a farm close to a residential area in
Al- Wadi Street, eastern Beit Hanoon, leading
to the martyrdom of Oday Nasser, 16, and Faris
Bassiouni, 9. 22 citizens were injured, as well, 14
of whom were children and 3 were women. The
bombardment destroyed Jamal Naser’s house,
and many other houses nearby were partly
damaged. Moreover, it caused the destruction of
Al-Estiqama Mosque.
23. Testimony of Salwa Naser, 42, Mother of
martyr Oday:1
When the time was almost 11:00 pm, Jamal
Naser, my 42-year-old husband, and I were sleeping
when we heard a sound of a very powerful bombing.
That moment, we were breathing dust!
My husband rushed to check on our children.
All of a sudden, my 18-year-old son, Tareq,
screamed! ‘Call the ambulance! Call the ambulance,
I›m Injured,» he was said. I went to see him, calmed
him down and called Oday, my 16-year-old son,
but he did not answer. I went to check on him;
groping my way through the darkness because of
the bombing. I arrived and touched him and started
unconsciously shaking him! He wasn’t moving!
A short while later, the ambulance arrived,
took the injured and left to the hospital. I, not
knowing what happened to my two sons, went to
my parents› house.
