At about 11:30 A.M, Al-Shalouf area, East of
Al-Zaytoon neighborhood to the East of Gaza
city, a farmland which belongs to Tafesh family
was attacked by three Israeli drone missiles. As
the farmland was surrounded by many civilian
houses, the house of Khaled Ahmed Tafesh, 30,
was completely damaged due to the bombing.
His ten-month baby girl, Haneen, was killed
due to serious injury. Furthermore, it led to the
destruction of a 5-storey house that belongs to
Rafeeq Hasan Tafesh’s sons and the demolition
of an ambulance.
5. Testimony of Huda Tafesh:1
11:00 A.M, Haneen was sleeping at her
aunt’s room before her mother came to take her
to her bedroom. There, she was killed. Just few
minutes after her mom transferred her to her room,
a drone missile exploded in her room! My son,
her daddy, came to me crying folding Haneen in
his arms. She was injured critically in the head in
addition to having some fragments in her back.
Her absence caused a large vacuum for
she was the youngest and the only daughter for
her parents as well as the youngest and the only
grandchild for me. It’s not easy to accept her loss
when I can’t even believe it! But I have to accept it.
