4. Testimony of Mahmoud Al-Abadlah’s
father:1
I never thought my son, Mahmoud, would
be killed by stupid missile fragments! I held him
tight and washed his face while my wife was
cuddling him, but he showed no reaction. My wife
started to scream hysterically.
My brother Mustafa and I took him to Al-
Salam Hospital. There, he was transferred to the
European Hospital, where he took his last breath
and rested in peace. There was a ray of hope as
doctors decided to perform an operation on him. It
was less than three hours when we knew that we
have lost him. He died.
