At about 9:00 am, the IOF warplanes attacked
a farm belonging to Dabour family in Jabalia,
northern Gaza, killing Mostafa Abuhmaid, 23,
who was working at the farm.
2. Testimony of Iman Jomaa, 23, Wife of
Mar tyr :1
I visitedmy familywho lived near the beach.
Since the situation was dangerous, my husband was
not able to bring me back home. We were apart;
each in a different place. The night before he was
killed, we spent the whole night talking on the
phone.
In the morning, around 6:00 am, I sent him
a message, but I got no reply. So, I kept calling and
his phone kept ringing. I thought my husband might
have kept his phone on the silent mode when he
went to sleep. I kept calling for two hours. When I
got no answer, I felt so worried!
When I called my mother-in-law to see
what was wrong, all I heard was, ‘He died! He died!
They killed him!’ She was not in her consciousness.
She was not listening to me. She hung up.
I cried bitterly. I just was not able to believe
what I just heard. I called Mustafa’s uncle and
asked once again about my husband, he said, ‘Dear
daughter, to God we belong, and to Him we shall
return.’
That was the hardest thing I ever heard in my
lifetime.
